New Moon in Scorpio
The sky is different when the moon is waning – the stars shine brightly on their own. Such is the effect of a new moon for us personally as well.
Here in the Southern hemisphere we are not celebrating Samhain or Halloween, that’s Northern hemisphere celtic tradition. To be truly accurate in terms of druidic and nature’s festivals, we are celebrating Beltane, the Festival of Flowering.
The new moon in Scorpio is also heralding a year of Jupiter in Scorpio – when all sorts of goodies can emerge from the treasure chest within our hidden selves. For us down-under here in this time/space, we can feel what is budding within and let ourselves blossom a little with the warm spring sun and nurturing rains. Love, passion, fertility and the promise of yummy fruits of life ahead are present in this new moon for us. These may be of the body, the heart, the mind, the soul or the spirit. Any combination of these is powerful. When the many aspects of ourselves are connected and focussed in harmony of intent, then the forces of creation bring forth such beauty.
I will update you all with knowledge and insights gained from the Shamballa Lecture, after I recover from Beltane and the Melbourne Cup festival time.
Enjoy Beltane in the Land of Oz and bring forth your dreams to the Light of Life.
