It’s difficult, this Grand Cross in Fixed signs. No matter how flexible we think we are, we are all being faced with the stubborn parts of ourselves and our created lives, that we simply don’t want to change, or don’t know how to change. Do we wait until life becomes too uncomfortable?

Astrology prescribes stages of growth and evolution to the planets: the further from the Sun, the stronger the contained energy for self sustainability must be. This Grand Cross involves Mars in Taurus (which is so close to our earth at the moment), Jupiter in Scorpio, Saturn in Leo, and Neptune in Aquarius.

Neptune is therefore the most elusive part of this Grand Cross. Esoterically, it is the spirit within the sign of humanity – the human spirit is emerging from deep within the species.

As the Full Moon in Taurus looms, the energy is intensifying. Who are we really? What really matters in a world of physical daily life and 3D matter? What do we want? How do we become the spiritual ideal/vision that, for aeons, we have projected as being “out there” and something to grow into when we are ready.

From now until May 13th 2006, when the Full Moon is in Scorpio, we will be in alchemical transformation. Resistance is futile. Denial is delusion. By next May, Chiron will be well into Aquarius and Pluto will be conjoining the Galactic centre. Healing and alignment will be available.

Meanwhile, it is time to become aware of our deepest desires and instincts, our wishes and dreams, and our social and personal responsibilities.

Given the fact that Life has granted us this existence, then we know we are here, now, and participating in this concentrated evolutionary thrust. (Conscious or not…)

May illumined Minds, Loving Hearts and Courageous Wills, restore, manifest and preserve, the original Divine Plan for our world. And may we find out a little of what that is…..
