Humo-ccentricity
Here on Urth, some sectors of humankind are celebrating the New Moon in Aquarius and the start of the Chinese New year.
Meanwhile, the greater clock grinds on in its eternal fulfillment of Life: our solar village system is experiencing a chiropractic adjustment in alignment with the galactical centre.
With a stellium of planets focussing this energy from the greater universal constellation of Aquarius, it is a natural response to be human-ccentric.
But just what IS being HUman? We have only just discovered that we are a Human species, living on a planet, revolving around a sun, that is on the outer suburban arm of a nursery galaxy. In a seemingly adolescent manner, we seem to be expressing ourselves with flamboyant disregard for the wider context of the world – in which we are certainly an active part, but about which we remain, still, grossly ignorant.
Chiron’s grand entrance into the realm of the human kingdom shall be balanced thru the solar year, by Saturn in Leo. It is a timely call to the Baby Boomer generation (Pluto in Leo group) to hand over the torch with grace – and gratitude for a full on 30 years of egoic self expression. And it IS time for a deeper faith in the magnitude of a universality of Life. For no matter what we think, feel, do, dream, envisage, or plan … the freedom of the spirit of Life WILL prevail. We may well be only soul tourists in this grand adventure.
The simplest message of the Chinese Year of the Dog is about honesty and loyalty. The deeper sense is that of intention. Now that is a deeply esoteric theme to study for the year of 2006. I predict the sleepy masses nose-down in materialism and self absorption, can already hear in the dreamy distance, the alarm bells ringing…
We here in Victoria, south eastern Australia, have just endured a week of FIRE and HEAT beyond “normality”. . Our volunteer fire teams were backed up by interstate mates. The ordinary people (Aquarius) were truly heroic and magificent in the fiery battle (Leo) to save lives and homes. Now, nature has blessed us with rain and cool breezes. Gratius.
But in the midst, firemen were robbed whilst asleep and homes ransacked while evacuated.
In the saving of a few houses, 60, 000 sheep and cattle burnt alive… And the wildlife and natural bush that we did not personally create? The shepherds have kowtowed to CEO’s on gluttonous salaries.
Humanity ? This IS personal …
Wakey, wakey …
No commentsSoft Moonlight and Gentle Dreams
The Moon is ostentatiously reflecting back the Sunlight and bidding that we awaken to our souls. Traditional esoterica describes the effect of sunlight as: ‘ the focus upon matter’ i.e. the reality of 3D physical world and its modern creations. Moonlight, and the night generally, calls forth our soulmind/hearts and therefore, has become the sanctuary of dreaming, of reflection, ponderance and contemplation. We sleep to rest the body and renew our soul connection.
The Full Moon in Cancer reminds us of the gentleness of life, its more tender moments, of safety and genuine congeniality. It is a time to consciously experience the cocoon of matter that houses our souls for this temporary existence.
Traditional astrology refers Cancer phases to family life – the home and hearth. These days, we experience family in such a myriad of ways. In our global village, the clan is no longer defined by genes, race, culture or creed. Now, we are more likely to seek soul or ‘like kin’: those with whom we feel safe and nutured, supported and enjoyed! And conversely, with a Capricorn Sun, those with whom we are willing to share the practical responsibilities of daily and societal life.
As we creep into the year and its looming business, we can pause for a moment and relish this Moontime. Take a walk [or dance naked if you can] in the moonlight and eat healthy, happy food – whatever celebrates being – simply – alive.
