These two Pacific Gulls are doing their yin/yang dance as they look for food in a depleted Bay. The dredging project has devastated the feeding stock. I experienced a picnic lunch with NO seagulls recently – weird.
We are heading for the second of the Full moons in the Sun cycle through the Taurus zone. It is exact on Tuesday 21st May at 12.10 to 12.12 pm AEST. This second of the Wesak Moons is being proclaimed as the genuine Wesak/Buddha full Moon. It makes sense astrologically as a Grand Cross forms with 3 planets in fixed signs and Saturn in Virgo (mutable). We seem to be enjoying overlays. Here, the Saturn in Virgo pre-empts the Gemini festival of Humanity which is the mutable signs.
The crop circles so far this year are also indicating merging and overlays with double spirals and double yin/yang symmetries. This confirms for me that we have definitely begun the change over of the Ages. This time of transition peaks in 2012 then gradually dissipates the years following.
Of course, with Saturn in Virgo, the sceptics are out in force. Who really knows what is happening? Personally, I enjoy being as conscious as I can possibly be during such tumultuous upheaval in a living dynamic planetary world such as our Urth. Consciousness is wider in scope than intellect and is inclusive of all evidence presented from whatever source: our human senses, the mind, science, prophecies and our own intuition and instincts.
Just after the Full Moon on the 20th, the moon enters Sagittarius keeping pace with the sun entering Gemini. Mercury (intellect and communications) in Gemini is direct until the 27th so download lots from the Higher Mind into the intellect before we enter the inner realm with mercury retrograde.
It is time to review: evaluate (Venus is in Taurus) what is our worth and what really matters, focus on organisational levels (Saturn in Virgo), revisit what we have learned and modify those visions created during the last decade or so ( Pluto retrograde returning to Sagittarius), and rein in grandiose schemes whilst considering the quality of life and our belief systems (Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn).
The personalisation of Mars in Leo is interesting and will be shifting the energetic focus from the Pluto in Cancer group and the honouring of the elders and war/depression/war eras, TO the Baby Boomers. What were those visions and ideals again? Opinionated journalism and My Face/Blogging will slowly lose their glamour. Grumpy elders indeed.
Australia has just declared its budget and the Opposition had its say. Interesting. The new Labour Government is winding back the excesses of the peacock times of the Howard regime. The rich have to give up their welfare bonuses and the money bag is being redistributed amongst the poor. Mind you, the cut off point is $150k annual income level which is mind boggling to someone like myself who is (just) managing on about $15k – that’s a tenth mathematically. I suppose I’d be able to buy in wood instead of scavenging for it during stormy days to keep warm during the cold nights. Everything is relative in this relative Universe.
The infrastructure of society and health, education and updating our home and lifestyles to consider new green technologies are all in focus. It is very Capricorn and wise indeed, as we have 16 years of this sort of necessity driven reality ahead of us. The Taurean influence of learning to share is strong. It is a good beginning for a new era. People are already seeing how much more we can ‘cut back’ and modify our lifestyles and societal structures to sustain our nation through troubled times.
Someone needs to give the Liberal Party advice about the astrology – we are entering a group consciousness Era of Aquarius and bleating about ‘individualism’ is old Baby Boomer Pluto in Leo stuff that doesn’t fit now – and will not wash in the times ahead.
Rather, responsibility for all of humanity and the planetary world is our evolutionary assignment.
The parliamentary debate and aggressive speech is so tiring. People who have rarely suffered or lived through intensity and hard times are trying to maintain this blustery character stuff. For the rest of us – these are our lives you are playing with – we are the human pawns on the chess board.
Interesting watching how efficient China is in response to the earthquake there in sharp contrasts to Burma. Both countries are strong military regimes yet the application of resourcefulness is quite different. Students of the Root Races and stages of evolution have major reference points displayed globally.
I recall futurists and prophets in the 1990’s speaking about the redirecting of military training and personnel/expertise away from war and conflict towards disaster management. It is happening. I ponder upon the meaning behind the Great invocation. The words ‘restore the Plan on Urth’ have me wondering what happened to the original blueprint for humanity and this beautiful globe?
Perhaps these next few months whilst Pluto is retrograde in Sagittarius may be an excellent time to dig out all those old channelled ramblings, prophecies and futuristic documentations. Saturn in Virgo will assist in wading through the waffle to find what is useful. Gordon Michael Scallion is coming into his own as is David Suzuki and other Baby Boomer elders who gave their all to prepare and warn humanity for what is happening right now. Those who were loyal to their visions and insights will be called upon now as ‘experts’. The most lauded and respected in these times ahead will be those who can be honest and transparent, precise and direct. Egoism and power plays will be relegated to theatre.
The volcano erupting in Chile has been asleep for 9,000 years. The planetary clock is chiming.
What fun it is to be here and now and conscious in such ‘interesting times’.
This Full Moon hilights the initiation of the species (enmasse) as the fixed/mutable cross stretches humanity and calls forth a maturing of personality/opinionated “me” stuff.
It is all very real and very here and now.
Students of the 5th Kingdom will have been experiencing the precipitation through into semi-conscious states of awareness so do keep jotting down those ideas and insights.
That’s Buddha’s gift to us all – illumination.
In cartoon symbology the light globes over our heads now need to be replaced with a few rays from the sun… students of esoterica and cosmology take note of the implications.
Time to relax a little and enjoy being alive – it is precious.

 We humans are all born of women, somewhere at sometime or other. We can celebrate our very existence this weekend and be glad we are alive. This planetary world is fascinating in its diversity. There are so many stories and legends of our ability to nuture across species and kingdoms. Mother yourself this weekend - and the earth.

The heavens and their cosmic cycles are imbuing us with a greater sense of appreciation for the natural world in which we are currently placed. Here, we can experience time and space, growth and movement, life and death and love, in all their nuances. Here on Urth there is immense diversity of life and of experiences. This solar village is the Galactical campus for learning Wise Love and loving wisdom.  The more we love life, the more open we are to experience it -fully. For those who have been brave souls and who have opened to change and growth and learning - be glad for yourself this weekend. We gain so much wisdom from our experiences in life. NOW is the time to start applying some of that wisdom.

Astroblog

There is a lovely earthiness for autumn gardening and nature walks. It is a fabulous time to plant the vegie patch and sprinkle seeds for spring flowering. This is a weekend to rediscover the healing joys: The art of doing and pottering whilst allowing the gentle receptivity of an open mind and open heart to catch sprinklings of cerebral aha’s that are secretly hidden in the precipitation from the heavens. Jot them down and later, sometime, you will realise the gems that have emerged within yourself and your own consciousness.

Happy Mother’s Day to all God’s children and to our nest – planet earth.
