In amongst the chaos, mayhem, fear mongering and confusion there are some gems/butterflies emerging from the depths of matter and gross materialism.
Here in Australia, I have been intrigued by the sharing of some serious and thoughtful research presented through some interesting television programs.
The ABC has launched their Future Makers series with a special documentary,
Risking our Kids, focussing on the work of Dr. Fiona Stanley.
The
Life at 1 (2&3) series traces what influences early developmental stages through the close monitoring, scientific/medical analysis and observation of a varied bunch of wonderfully real families and their children.
SBS Insight last night discussed the parental leave and child care concerns.
What is revealing here is a resurgence of a kindly enthusiasm for the well being of our own human species – reflected in growing community concern for the young and their carers.
I await with anticipation, the next stage of revelation -that stern imposed discipline teaches obedience/rebellion – awareness of the WHY self -discipline is needed, teaches consciousness.
Astrologically – this is one of the effects of Uranus in Pisces (children and their innate genius) and the stellium in Aquarius (humanity): Guide (lovingly) the early stages of development to release the true gifts of the genius (soul/spirit) within.
The social consciousness is expanding (Jupiter in Capricorn). Personal questions of what is equitable and fair, are rising to the surface under the Sun in Libra. Take notes – by this time next year (November 2009) Saturn will be ready to enter Libra for two years and that’s the cycle for legislation, regulation, law making and social justice. By then, Jupiter will be in Aquarius (humanity’s consciousness).
How to contemplate the human self within the light of the soul is clearly described on Nightlight news esoteric astrology page. This is worth saving for the cycle ahead of Saturn in
Libra trining Jupiter in Aquarius 2009/10. The theme of personality merging with the soul light continues to guide our fledgling humanity.
The combination of Pluto leaving Sagittarius (having uprooted the belief systems and ideologies (inherent in ALL our world religions), Uranus in Pisces (what is the essence of our spiritual natures to be gleaned from the suffocating religious dogma and limiting doctrines of the past?) and Jupiter in Capricorn (think beyond the status quo and head for the mountain top – it provides a glorious 360 degrees view).
The streaming forth of the 7th Ray is powerful – it is inclusive and we are developing ways of seeing many perspectives as contributing to our world civilisations and lifestyles. The anchoring of this ray is happening now. The soil is tilled and the earth Logos itself is opening to this strengthening force. The 5 triggers of Saturn opposite Uranus will assist in the anchoring of this Ray into the core of the earth. It will change us, humanity and indeed, ALL the kingdoms of the earth. It is the violet ray (which is finer and faster as a frequency than the previously dominant 6th ray of Idealism and devotion) and it cleanses, neutralises, disinfects and unifies. It calms our emotive bodies and empowers the spirit. It is called the Ray of Ceremony – which describes how we humans utilise it: in ceremony we externalise the internal in respectful and mindful creative play within the many kingdoms of which we are a part. It is the bringing forth of our recognition of the sacredness in Life. Frankincense (masculine) and Myrrh (feminine) are the scents/essences.
Those humans who are floundering as the agents of authority disentangle themselves from the complicit nature of herd consciousness, need only ask themselves – what authority would you now seek and totally trust? In these times, the gradual dissolving of our authority systems may be disconcerting: the monarchies, the churches, the governments, the golden coins of assumed wealth, social privilege and status, perceived power, false beauty and vanity, aggrandizement and exclusivity – all are revealing themselves to be passé.
The message is simple – we are all humans doing the human thing. We are all damaged in some way and we need to make/take time to heal. (Chiron in Aquarius conjunct the Node)
The secrets are surfacing (Mars and Venus in Scorpio) along with those who enjoyed conspiracy – either creating and exploiting it or uncovering it. This will continue as Mercury and the Sun reach Scorpio on 24th, (New Moon on 28th October). There is a hidden agenda yet to emerge. The movie
Zeitgeist is indeed relevant here – and the site indicates solutions through the presentation of its addendum.
The ABC
Four Corners program this week explores the Tax havens/avoidance schemes and what recent and current investigations are revealing. Those who are shedding tears at the demise of selfish capitalism can take heart … the future is likely to be a more comfortable and fair mix of capitalism and socialism. Ultimately, if we do not take care of the people, there is no social system to serve any interests. Indeed, the division between capitalism and socialism was a furphy anyway andridiculous. We are both individually unique AND social creatures. Doh! The unravelling of complicated avoidance schemes is actually quite amusing. Saturn in Virgo is very exact. It calls forth the requirement of simplicity and reality. The Pluto in Virgo group (born 1957 -1972) is savvy and these folk are realists and superb investigators. (Journalists take note!)
Where are the cartoonists and comedians – we need you?! I chuckled over the Snake cartoon in the Herald Sun yesterday: “
The future isn’t what it used to be…” I thank the souls that created Monty Python and Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. I cherish the 7.30 report Thursday program for the weekly comedians,
Clarke and Dawe, take on the world. Methinks the amusement of the ‘lighter’ investigators and observers of world events – is comforting. Virgoan type humour is spot on.
Simple fact is, if we are honest and transparent – energy expended in avoidance, denial, repression, suppression and oppression, shame, guilt, fear and apprehension – can be released.
Why anyone thinks they need to grab/stash away $millions for themselves and their families is a sad revelation of their insecurity, personal low self esteem and life devoid of light (openness) love, joy and true companionship. Nobody needs excessive wealth. Why then, has it become so ‘desirable’? This is where our compassion CAN emerge – for the disproportionately wealthy and disproportionately powerful are not free: they live in fear and scurry in shadowlands. The Great Depression looms over us all and the ripples down through the generations are being felt. We need now, to heal from times gone by and understand there is natural abundance and enough for all. The ‘bail out’ proves this as a FACT. Where the money (concretised energy) goes and why, is yet to be revealed. It shall. It is inevitable.
This is another aspect of the externalising of our (hidden) fantasies and dreams (Neptune in Aquarius) – the fairytales from past centuries and the myths and legends of bygone eras: Castles and princes/princesses, wealth and power, prestige and (perceived) beauty – the Emperor has no clothes. Every culture has similar stories and myths. Eric at
Planet Waves describes this as “The Great Unveiling”. The carrots in front of the donkeys are losing their appeal. The donkeys are asking questions. (Shrek) Eric speaks of the developing value of open co-operation emerging amidst the muddiness of secret and separative competitiveness.
The ingress of Pluto into Capricorn (November 27th) heralds a cycle of social transformation which is needed, warranted and timely. It is our destiny, our heritage, our purpose and our privilege to participate with conscious awareness. We can enjoy our ability-to-respond and embrace this Renaissance, Revolution and Reformation period in earth’s history with gusto. We may as well – it shall be happening until 2024! It will look good on the soul resume.
The Sun in Libra continues to nudge us gently towards reconciliation of the personality self with the Soul Self – merging of the two in a tantricdance is the flavour of the month.
The Full Moon in Aries (Sun Libra) on Wednesday 15th October is at 7.03 am AEDT. [We have switched to daylight saving on the East coast of Australia]. That’s a fine morning for a sunrise walk and contemplation folks!
By the Friday 17th October, Mercury is direct again and the moon is in Gemini. We can think ahead once more and express (externalise) what we have discovered in these 3 weeks of inner plane review. Think back to the Full moon in Libra just before dawn on the 22nd March this year. Then think ahead to next Easter. What is consistent? YOU and your consciously being here now, is the ongoing common element. Everything else keeps changing. This is a great mystery to the uninitiated and obvious to those in the know: essentially, it is our awareness of the self within the context of time and space (and outside time/space) that holds us in form and enables our full presence – to be enough.
The spiritual change/shift that is stimulating this awareness and growth both in our own unique personal selves and in our greater interaction in the world will need new concepts, paradigms and words.
The first stage of awareness grows around two years of age: “An eye for eye and a tooth for a tooth” (retaliation and revenge). These led us to become aware. Ouch – that hurt! Take that!
The next stage (Christ teaching of), “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is appropriate as we develop empathy, compassion and awareness (heart chakra and frontal lobe of the brain) i.e. our effect on each other. “How would YOU feel …?” is the modern equivalent. It is the adolescent stage of development.
The new mantra to add in here incorporates our growing social consciousness and community awareness: “Do unto others as you would have them do to each other”. This developmental blossoming (ideally) happens in our twenties as we develop spiritual and adult skills. It implies consciousness of the ‘We” – that we are all simply human and what we want for ourselves is also what we want for all humanity.
The Coming of Age begins …
Blessings for the Full Moon in Aries …
