We are heading for the Full Moon and the entry of Pluto into Capricorn on Australia Day! Our Australian Constitution was launched in January 2001 so we have a strong societal connection to Capricorn. Looks like Ozland will be experiencing in depth transformation of Governance and social organisation over the next two decades. Perhaps we shall become an independent Republic?

The astrology for 2008 has been summarised and the file is on the Astrology Page. Hefty reading  – it may be a useful guide to the year for you. I have indicated the more long term effects of this new cycle for people to consider.

2008 will be a year of transition – of refining ourselves personally to align with the Bigger Cycles which will sweep through our world with the wildness of Mickey Mouse in Fantasia! We will take a few years to learn how to capture this potent energy and utilise it for our own evolution. There is a lot of good grounding and practical assistance to help us settle into the next stage of implementation of the gifts and knowledge we have spent years studying and exploring.

The only public workshop I will be running this year is on the Metamorphic Technique. Information on the Consultancy page. Otherwise I have a full year of study and writing ahead of me.

Here in the Land of Oz we are well acquainted with the phenomena of fire and how it regenerates many plant forms that do not seed unless they are burned. The gumnut blossoms pictured here are beautiful and their flower petals are soft and delicate to touch. Yet they flower on the hardy gums which survive in the harsh Australian summer. It is an appropriate vision on which to ponder.

The Grand Trine in Fire that is holding form in our solar village at present is a reminder of the healing properties of the fiery spirit which is expressing itself in our world. In the esoteric writings of the Tibetan Master DK, he speaks of ‘the burning ground’.* It describes a stage of initiation that is a required and necessary prelude to a great release. It is apt to focus on this now as the Grand Trine links Jupiter in Sagittarius, Saturn in Leo and Venus in Aries. These 3 planets link to Neptune forming a Kite – which is the release of new impulses of spirit from deep within the human species.

Hidden away in Pisces are three foci quietly moving into a major conjunction. They are Mercury, our humans cognitive minds; the Karmic North Node; and Uranus, the enlightener. Not many people can handle lightning through their bodies, but we hear the stories of people who do. Such is the power of Uranus for it is one of those ‘outer’ planets – a transpersonal one that influences entire generational soul groups. It has an interesting link to Sirius, the bright blue star we see at night. According to scientists, it takes 8.6 years for the Light from Sirius to reach our planet. Uranus has an approximately 8 year cycle. 8 is also the cosmic lemniscate depicting infinity and is often referred to as the number of the Christ. This all links together because what is hidden there in Pisces, is our Christing.

The Sojourn with ShaVrill (our original team from Shamballa), was held on Saturday just prior to the Full Moon Eclipse. We were advised to indulge in the ritual of washing our feet. We were instructed to literally scrub away the residue of the Path we have trodden until now and anoint our feet to find the Way through to the next Stage of The Path which is new, unknown and to be created as we go. Many of us did this and are wondering if this was the meaning behind the ritual recorded at the time of the Christ’s incarnation. It is a wonderfully releasing and nurturing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual experience.  This Grand trine in fire links directly to the Full Moon in Aries, the Easter Full Moon, the time of the releasing of the Christ seed and the resurrecting of our divinity within our planetary world. It may take a while to settle, to gestate, to surface and flower, but it eventually does.These two March Eclipses are like pillars that border a corridor between now and the September Eclipses in the same signs. The Virgo chrysalis holds deep within it the Pisces Christ seed.It may seem twee to remind ourselves to have Faith in the Will-To-Good that IS emerging within our human species. I feel intuitively that this Grand Trine now will burn the ground that will release the seeds at Easter. Much is hidden and much is to be revealed. Some, we may not like, but it is always good when Truth emerges for it stands on its own, unchallenged. It is easier to ‘cope’ when we KNOW we are dealing with reality. On a personal level, many will agree, that deception, and not knowing, is harder to process than the Truth.We do not always know how this Christing emerges – sometimes it is fiery, sometimes breezy, or perhaps gentle and kind. It is always wise, loving and brings miraculous healing. The gospels and writings we have as records of the Christ may be embellished, but his teachings are more important than any phenomena associated with the life of that Avatar. We tend to glamorise great beings and wise Teachers, and hold onto the often fabricated stories. We create religions around these events and people and in that, we may well be missing the essential Truth of their teachings.

Mercury is Retrograde and we are hanging in there upside down like bats, on the underside of the Cosmic Lemniscate.  Personally, I have been challenged with my modem crashing and having to revert to dial up.  Adaptability is my middle name so that’s okay. It just means everything gets slowed down a bit which is a good thing. I am sometimes too easily seduced by the urgency virus that infects us humans occasionally. Creative work on the Domain has slowed down too. Yet, you now have FOUR chapters of Pendulum Edition 3, updated and available as PDF on that Page. Amazing this retro stuff – a grand time to sort out lots from the past and update to the present. 

I received an email this morning about work place practises and how the crazy push/pull go-get-it mentality is fading as we rethink the Quality of Life rather than the quantity of – money, status, power, urgency, drive, ambition, approval, prestige, …all very appropriate for this phase of our celestial weather. Wonderful to see humans at last realising that we do NOT want to evolve as a slave worker species.  Our heritage of aeons of evolution and progress is designed to ease the labour, not intensify it.
 
Mercury has re-entered Aquarius and joined the stellium there so the cognitive emphasis is once again on how we humans think. February 28th we reach the peak of Neptune in Aquarius (Human Spirit) opposing Saturn retrograde in Leo (old hierarchical patterns). There are so many interpretations of this opposition. I sense it is about bringing our dreams into reality. The old- stilted and often harsh teachings were that ‘reality’ is yuk and ‘dreams’ are fairy floss. This is an extension of a core belief that Life at its most ‘real’ is horrible and that we humans just have to wake up to it and stop dreaming and wishing for something better.

What if being real IS the ‘better’ way of being and living? Every culture and creed, every race and belief system has taught that God is Good. Then let’s choose it.We CAN choose the simpler, most caring, most efficient, most healthy and loving way of living. We CAN choose Quality of Life. We CAN choose to STOP warring and violence and greed and exploitation and corruption and dishonesty and deception.

In FACT, (reality) no-one else can choose it for us. And maybe that’s what has been happening for too long – praying and waiting for God, Goddess, angels, benevolent ET’s, Ancestor spirits, Faeries, Masters, Avatars, Messiah … to come here and DO it for us. Yes, they guide and encourage and comfort us. But we are here, now and it IS our Human choice. We CAN choose to manifest (Saturn) the Divine(Neptune) into our world. They are only ‘opposite’ looking from one end to the other. Seen from the holographic, they are just different perspectives.

These pillars of Saturn and Neptune flank a doorway of consciousness, a vortex that winds all the way through to July/August 2013. It is the closing of one cycle and the opening of the other. Each step we take, each expansion and purposeful directing of our own conscious growth, leaves behind what was and opens us to the Becoming.

The first Eclipse of the year is connecting the Pisces/Virgo axis on March 4th. That’s Sunday morning around 10.16 am AEDT here in the old Lemurian Land of Oz. We enter a mini corridor (within a larger Cosmic vortex) until September this year. The Pisces/Virgo axis is the epitome of the idea of Spirit in Matter.

How many people on the planet wear jewellery made of ‘precious’ stones? Then there are all those who have pet stones and rocks and minerals for healing. Or just think about the mineral tablets we take for health. Light crystallised into matter. How superbly organised our world of Nature is!?

The ‘discovery’ of the ‘possible’ bones of Jeshua and family is an astrological cliché. Divine synchronicity indeed. We have lots upon which to ponder until Spring (Southern hemisphere –September).

What is missing in this beautiful pic of the Ocean lapping the Southern shores of Australia?
 

People, animals, trees, flowers, insects?  Oh yes, and planes, buildings, cars, roads, shops and boats. 
 
It reminds me of the Lemurian Era.  A firmament surrounded the planet.  Sound was muffled. It was misty and ethereal with breezes that lifted and carried wisps of cloud amongst the trees and abundant foliage.  Sunlight was filtered through the vegetation. It was the time of the Dominance of the Plant Kingdom.
 
Humans and animals were only just beginning.
 
Now here we are in this time and space: The time of Human Dominance. The Age of Animal growth witnessed a great clearing and refinement of the plant kingdom. The Age of Humans has likewise, changed the Animal, Plant and Mineral kingdoms.
 
Mercury is in its first of three cycles of retrograde motion. We are retreating inwards to contemplate and reflect – the intensity of outer world events, changing climate patterns and pressures to ‘keep on keeping on’ exhausts us. **
 
This Friday 16 February, is World Kyoto Day.  According to the Media release, the Australian Youth Climate Coalition is acting on very real concerns about the pollution we tolerate and seem to blindly accept:
‘Groups of young people in 20 cities across Australia will deliver the declaration to their local MPs’ electorate offices and hand out leaflets in shopping malls on World Kyoto Day.’ ***
 
The debates continue across the world about whether our human activities and lifestyle are causing climate change, or whether this is nature’s cyclical dance. The evidence that our whole solar system is changing is definitely there.
 
Perhaps it is a natural cycle, as we enter a ‘Galactical Summer’. The sheltering Ozone layer and the ability of nature to adapt IS built into the system. OUR human ability to adapt, or become extinct, is part of the process. The real issue seems to be whether we make it worse, by perpetuating what we know is unwise activity in the face of evidence that we need to change for our own survival. The reluctance to change, to grow and to recreate is a very real concern, for it indicates a species locked into dead end maze.
 
This Sunday in the early hours of the morn, is the New Moon in Aquarius. It is a Fixed sign and it challenges all Fixed sign folk and forms on the planet. What doesn’t give a little – breaks. This weekend then is a good time to ponder upon why we have perpetuated this dichotomy between civilisations and the world of nature. Is it really about nature versus us?  Can our modern lifestyle and activities be created and designed to be eco friendly?
 
By dawn on the 18th February, the Moon moves into Pisces and then on the 19th the Sun joins  a stellium of 6 foci of energy in the watery Piscean realm. With Saturn opposite Neptune, the ethereal nature is strong. Yet reality anchors so much there in Leo. What is real and what is unreal? What is True and what is false?
 
On the 21st February, Venus joins the Moon in Aries, leading the charge into the next annual solar cycle.
 
The Youth Climate Coalition are a brave clan of young folk. They may well be campaigning to state the obvious, that we humans need to ‘think again’. How appropriate for Mercury retrograde?  May the heavens support these caring and mindful souls.

Some interesting geometry shall be playing itself out in our Solar Village from Friday 13th through until the 23rd /24th October. For those who are students of spiritual/esoteric/soul based astrology… It all starts with a Grand Trine in Water.

THEN

There will be a Yod in strong formation for 10 days. Rare enough in itself and profound even in short bursts. What is even more astounding, is that this Yod holds the planetary Karmic Node at its peak at 25 degrees Pisces.

[A Yod is formed by two quincunxes which are described as tensions to be resolved in text books. I usually experience them as tightness which act like guy ropes holding a tent in place against the winds. These quincunxes are sextile between them. Sextiles are opportunities, when things can happen quite easily.]

The Yod is described as “The finger of God” like Michelangelo’s picture. It is pictorially the flame above Hebrew letters in scrolls and script. It is a reminder of the Covenant, or agreement we have with the Sacred realms. This Yod involves Saturn, (Karma and responsibility, but also Timing) The North Node, which is our collective Karmic growth or spiritual syllabus, and the Sun in Libra conjunct Mars.

On October 17th, the day the Magenta/Blue Ray will be cascading forth stimulating our Solar Village Theme of Love/Wisdom, The Yod will be joined by Venus and the Moon.

Venus is our Founding Elder – the planet that hosted The Ancient Ones, the overseers of the establishing of Planet Urth as a Mansion World for incarnating souls. According to the Secret Doctrine, this all began 18 million years ago.

By the 22nd/23rd as the New Moon is flanked once again by Venus and Mars [this began with that brilliant Full Moon on the 7th], the whole scenario fizzles out of Libra [take a huge breath] and leaps into the churning waters of Scorpio with the Sun exactly conjunct Mars and Jupiter exactly conjunct Mercury.

Scorpio is the sign of Discipleship and Humanity is undergoing a long term initiation into Discipleship as Urth births itself into a sacred planet. The planetary Logos (Sunat Kumara) takes initiation and humanity jumps thru with it. Now all this takes a long time, but as many of us now know, this is accelerating as we move into alignment with the Galactic Centre.

It is intriguing to watch the symmetry of the clocks, the wheels within wheels of this huge ordered and unfolding story of which we are a part.

Methinks those who are developing their intuition, their own direct link with the 5th Kingdom, with the Divine Plan and the wondrous flowering of their own role in this, shall become verrrrry aware of their own specific Path and how this fits into the Bigger Picture. So Keep a Journal of those dreams, visions, precognitions, intuitive flashes and burping aha’s !

Regardless of how aware or asleep we may be, the positioning of Saturn and the Karmic North Node indicate that this SHALL involve all of us – the planet, the 5 kingdoms and probably much more than we yet know.

Watching the news I am very aware of our (humanity’s) need to grow in compassion and sensitivity, and to become a great deal more responsible and generous with a fair distribution and sharing of our resources. North Korea is playing with fire and it seems like another gang in the schoolyard wants to play like the Big Boys. Dangerous stuff and a stark reminder of just careful we must be in this globalization process. Bully boys are NOT the way to behave in the playground. Whoops and Ouch!

I shall follow this Yod through over these next two weeks and post brief items of interest from our externalizing world that fit into this scenario. Please feel free to join in the forum and email your own observations.
