The Full Moon in Gemini has begun. Two sides, two views, two perspectives: one is waning and one is waxing.

(1) Gloom and Doom

Are our human lives and our planet worth saving?

In this sinister autumn of 2008, the world finds itself threatened by three formidable demons: Three risks that feed on each other, rule one another out and respond to one another. Economic risk, first of all, with its cortege of social misery: It makes one forget the long period of good investments and expensive energy that incited economization. The sole consolation: recessions, by slowing down economic activity, also brake greenhouse gas emissions. But is it a consolation to see the United States, India and China pollute the planet less because they are plunged in social uncertainty? Then there’s political risk: a consequence of economic risk, as is the explosion of inequalities and the rise of every kind of extremism. The Bombay bloodbath is its latest expression. Finally, there’s environmental risk: more distant, but palpable and capable of interacting with the two other risks to blow the planet apart. The world’s fine balance, to play on the title of Indian Rohinton Mistry’s great novel, rests on this fragile triangle. Hence, the anguished appeals we will hear from Poznan not to sacrifice the environment to the crisis and to the immediate gratification of cheap oil, but rather to profit from these difficulties to adopt the opposite approach, the one that will consist in orienting the economic recovery toward clean energy and reduction of social inequalities. To transform such threats into opportunities will require courage, vision and determination. Will we have enough?

Well, yes … there is enough ‘courage, vision and determination’ evident out there already. Pfft!

(2) Out of and into this World

Today is the opening of the 12: 12 Gateway and the beginning of the 13th Full Moon and final seasonal days of the Solar year which culminates in the Solstice on 22nd December. We have entered another one of those vortexes wherein we take a quantum leap in consciousness. 

There is a Cross forming in the heavens. It is stretching our sensitivities like skin over a frame. Hey, we can do it. We are (apparently) all souls and spirits incarnated on the cross of Time and Space in a world of physical Matter – sharing our human experience.

The Full Moon clicks it into place on 13 December at 3.38 am AEDT on Saturday morning. [Chart] 13th-full-moon

Methinks there’ll be quite a few folk on Ozland’s East Coast awoken at that 3.00 am contemplation time!  If you do awake – light a candle and say the Great Invocation and your own prayers or whatever. It will be an opportunity for a Sacred moment in time and space. 

 Risa’s weekly posting gives an expanded esoteric description of the Mutable Cross: The Cross of Experience. What do we gain from experience? Wisdom. This catapults us on to the next plane of awareness, the Solar Sun and village theme of Love/Wisdom. Love is the core of creation and manifestation. Wisdom comes from experience in and with creation. What do we do with Wisdom? We apply it.

Another perspective of this Mutable Cross [Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces]  is that we discover we have been skimming the surface of life – the everchanging dynamic we enjoy, the movable and changeable, the personality level of creation. From surfing the net we have learnt that there is much to know. Selection begins – a few too many people have been leaves in the wind, leaving it ‘up to them’: (Gods, gurus, governments, bosses, boards, business, industry, ‘the markeplace’, the media, experts, advisers, committees, parents, partners and spouses – whoever ‘they’  and them signified) to organise their lives, maintain the basics and tell them what to think and feel. Security at all costs in such a time of exploration is too often at the expense of what is truly gained in a time of relative freedom – the spiritual gifts that come from knowing oneself – one’s instinctive and intuitive nudges and hunches. This next stage of growth is less about the appearances and more about the Quality and substance. It means taking the reins and making choices. It means changing.

There are 3 aspects to creation: Appearance, Quality and Life force…*

In the Pluto in Sagittarius cycle we have enjoyed seeking, searching, travelling, creating, playing, dancing through the labyrinths and supermarkets of life, grabbing a bit here and a mouthful there and collecting a dilly bag full of ideas, visions and seeds of cultural interest. We tried out different lifestyles and forms of relationships. We interacted with a wide cross section of people extending into a Global Community. Yes, our world Economy was inflated on hot air and a system based on exploiting the masses for the benefit of a few – yet the credit provided freed us to explore and create. We’ve bought a lot of ’stuff’  – much of which we now realise we no longer need and which hasn’t satisfied our deeper human needs. Look in your wardrobe and at the food, music and books/films you have chosen: a plethora and wide cross section of tastes and flavours will be evident. Lots appeared for us to play with and we discovered much with our toys. It’s been a grand adventure and we’ve enjoyed ourselves playing in one of God’s Kingdoms.  

Now we mature. In the Pluto in Capricorn cycle, we shall become a lot more selective and discerning as to what works, what is of real use to humanity - what is essential. The Capricorn cycle of the next 16 years will draw us to the Quality (substance) of Life.

In so doing, it is important that we do not discard all that we have learnt, for in the Grand Cosmic Design, each cycle has its place and time. We have discovered we humans like diversity, freedom, innovation, knowledge, communication, sharing and creativity. We have become more universally conscious in the many meanings of that word. A fun U tube to watch promoting a new Guide for Writers provides an insight into the blending of what we have achieved. The global popularity of U tube and Facebook, the World Wide Web, mobile phones, ipods and Blogging are the outcome of humans being human.   We are happily cross matching what have previously been inaccessible divisions between the physical, mental, philosophical, cultural, scientific, technological and artistic fields of activity. We are experiencing the wholistic on a micro and potentially a global level. We are free to share globally and no longer restricted by location or space/time.

The consequence of these discoveries about ourselves as a species will be tested in the more practical and grounded realities. The ‘want it now’ is morphing into an understanding of timing and that the grander Purpose is ever and always to a wider experience of what we call Love.

The Cardinal Cross will come into play more often as we toddle along the journey with Pluto in the Cardinal sign of Capricorn (a practical earth sign) until 2024/5. By this time next year, Saturn in Libra will add to the weight of the Purpose centred Cardinal Cross – the Cross of Spirit. So don’t give up folks. Evolution takes time and we ARE taking Quantum leaps!

 The Fixed sign folk [Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius], are often the stubborn ones precisely because they are the maintainers – they will continue to hold the parameters for those souls now awakening and awakened to their Soul level of consciousness. With Neptune in Aquarius continuing to dissolve the outer appearances of human creation and reveal the essence – we are strengthening our collective human soul.

 Nice words – what does it all mean? It means we shall be faced with necessities of life that will call a swift halt to the dilly dallying, the mind games, the surface illusions we have accepted ‘at face value’ as being ‘real’. We shall be gravitating towards the essential core of what we value.

 Now, we seek a ‘real economy’; now we see first hand the effects of causes created by any shallowness and disregard (e.g.for nature; for the shareholders; for the workers; for the people,  for the consequences of our actions). Increasingly, people will be seeking to be of use, to ‘ do something meaningful’. Yay!

 The Polish team in the European Summit on Climate Change is holding out for wise investment of interests in new and sustainable solutions.

The United Nations has calculated that it would take $150 billion to end poverty and save the environment. The industrial/war machine gobbles up trillions in one year. We have the resources.

The concept of Sustainability is of the Fixed Cross. We may no longer be able to afford the luxury of playing war games and bailing out/maintaining industries that do not serve our well being and that of our planet. Power struggles shall need to morph into the greater understanding that it is not about power and winning, it is about people and life. Governments and leaders that ‘give in’ to persuasion and lobbyists invariably end up sinking like the Titanic. Doh!

 Creation’s essential ability to respond, recreate, regenerate and adapt is expressed in the way it is dynamic and diversified (the mutable quality]. Design and structure, energy and sustainability are of the Fixed quality. Life force is of the purpose – the Cardinal quality. Creation involves all 3 crosses.  (e.g. Creating non fertile seeds is unsustainable as it results in a dead end in the life cycle – Doh!)

 The trinary point of any seeming duality (and there are a two powerful oppositions stretching us to ‘breaking point’) is the synthesis of what they have in common. All four mutable arms of this Cross are changeable and moving targets. All four involve our human ability to think and ponder, envisage, share through communication and create.

 All four are receptive to energies from outside and expressed from our inner planes to the external. All four meet in the central common factor: Response

How we choose to respond is the outward expression of the inner self. This externalisation is then modified by the outer world responding to us. And on it goes: Life. Wondrous huh?!

The expansion of our local awareness beyond our small parameters of nations, creeds and races is now stretching us further than our own planetary world into our Solar System (Solar/soul). The transit of the Sun in Sagittarius aligning with the Galactic Core on 17 December is followed swiftly by Mars blazing through the same point by the Solstice on the 22nd December.

“Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket …” : ideas and inspirations will drop gently (or non too gently with Mars there) into receptive beings. Keep them safe for us.

 Personally, many are screaming for freedom from all these hassles and worries; for inner peace at least; for solutions and at least a momentary halt to the rapid changes cascading through our lives. In these times, we are discovering what is more important than appearances, tacky stuff and massive avoidance of the truth.

We are discovering that the political, the financial and the environmental are personal as well as collective.

Venus has moved quietly into Aquarius. On the 19th December it conjuncts the Karmic Node. Jupiter joins them on the 5th January. Humanity is drawing the focus of attention. By then we shall know that it is up to us, it about us, it is caused by us and it effects us. By then we shall know, that the government, the economy, care of the environment, our social structures, our beliefs and values expressed in our behaviour and human creations – are all outward manifestations of what we are as a species.

 For the next round of the sun (solar year) , we shall become increasingly aware of this basic truth.

 We are waking up and realising a great deal – we have been living in a created dream, a Hollywood Movie set, an illusion, maya, an unreal and unrealistic temporary creation, a playpen. In that dreamworld, we have a mere reflection of the true magnificence of our humanness.  We are essentially a dynamic species in a dynamic world in a creative Universe. It is beautiful.

 Wakey, wakey, rise and … clean up after you and self correct. Do join in the creative and innovative tasks we are now free to tackle. All are welcome aboard the Human Express.

From the changeable and ‘anything goes’ to the Purposeful, from dilly dallying to decisions and responsibility based on human (its personal) values.  We are now perusing our next assignment which will see us applying our learned ability to think vertically and laterally, wholistically, humanely, with love, integrity and honesty. 

 In the Lunar Calendar this is the 13th (since the Solstice 2007) Full Moon. It is also the closest to the earth and called a Super moon by the scientists : NASA

Antidotes to this Full Moon madness are to relax and watch a movie, read a book, listen and/or play some music, go for a walk, share with friends – let go. Careful with drugs/alcohol as sensitivity will be magnified.

The energy is moving. We are adaptable. We are lucky to be here and now in a time of enormous change.

The planet is shifting and so are we.

Our local Rye InterFaith Festival was reflecting our planetary world and so did the weather. On Saturday it stormed, raged, rained and shook around us as we crowded into the main tent where we huddled against the elements and chuckled about the forces of nature so much greater than our small human plans and aspirations. We carried on regardless. It was a wonderful day for its poignancy. The Sunday was in complete contrast: gentle breezes from the sea cooled us in a delightful sun. Crowds spread across the foreshore. People danced and sang, explored, discussed, shared and discovered. We were humans playing in God’s Kingdom.

Visual memories captured with my mind and cherished in my heart: The aboriginal didgeridoo playing and the opening ceremony wherein a representative of each Faith gave a blessing/prayer and poured their cup of water in a stone bowl. Young trees in pots stood guard around the bowl. They will be planted and blessed with the combined water.  Sikh whirling dervishes and Israeli dancing that we did not want to stop; Gregorian chants; a white robed Roman Catholic priest strolling around eating falafel, and a Buddhist monk amidst some children rescuing balloons that had flown off in the wind.

It was for me a splendid way to wave farewell to Pluto in Sagittarius, grateful for how much humanity has evolved through its trials and tribulations, its joys and expansive exploration.

By Wednesday I was feeling world weary (Second Saturn Return). Closing my eyes, I picked up an angel card. GRACE ! ? Pffft! Okay.

So I pondered and let myself feeeel the gift of GRACE. Hmmm. Graceful, gracious, ‘good gracious me!’, and ‘There but for the grace of God, go I’. The weariness flittered away like leaves in the wind.  The birds sang, the cat purred and sunlight shone in the garden. I was back in Eden.

The collective mind is working fine folks! On 27th November I read Fe Bongolan opening her essay at the Planet Waves Blog with exactly the same message – hers was a memory of Joan Baez singing Amazing Grace at an outdoor concert.

The synchronicity is not at all surprising – Sagittarius expands us into one Mind through telepathic and intuitive awareness and the visual. This last 15 years has seen the world wide explosion of mobile phones we can take pics and videos with, Ipods, digital cameras and the internet into our homes and lives on a scale unprecedented. The technology has taken off in response to us humans. It is what we humans WANT – to share and to communicate freely.

This next cycle with Pluto in Capricorn and the huge shifts taking place in our mass consciousness may all seem as if the external is changing the internal. Methinks it is also the other way around – we humans are changing and the old created forms are no longer satisfying. The mind is quickening and we can now be more selective in what we think about.

The slow powerful presence of Chiron, the Karmic agenda Node and Neptune (nurturing our spirit selves), in Aquarius, is blowing gently through the fixed mindsets and thoughtforms and aligning us with our blueprint.

Yes, Pluto’s transformational power will take us to the core of our traditions, our forms of Governance and civilisations. Yes, Saturn opposite the now direct Uranian awakener is an active agent in the quickening of our vibrational field.

For those not ready or receptive, it can seem very strange indeed. “What in the world is happening? ” they ask of nobody in particular, shaking their heads in bewilderment and disbelief.

The bell is clanging. The larger stellar cycle we have is a couple of thousand years known as the Age of Aquarius – when we can gradually open our minds to uncover much more about our potential as a human species, learn lots, create and discover what it is like to be friendly towards life and this planetary world. It requires self awareness (Leo) and Love which is not about lust and sentimental attachment – it is about being open minded and big hearted. 

So how do we get there from where we are now ? Our human world is trying to shake itself loose from its entrenchment in a monetary system designed to ‘use many to make much for a few’; wars on many levels still rage with sibling rivalry between nations, cultures and creeds; competition, greed and Gromel-like characteristics are still imbedded into a ‘that’s business’ mentality; hatred and fury are unleashed on each other, and on our beautiful natural world; ignorance, denial and fear are often the prime motivators of our behaviour.

We need to stretch, stand up and look around us.

Planet Waves this week published a fascinating essay re the spine and Capricorn. As a Cappie with spinal and brainstem injuries – I am an avid fan of chiropractic adjustments and yoga. When I have the spine straight, the rest of me falls into line as well. By combining the spinal adjustments and yoga exercising with chakra alignment, I know I’m doing a really thorough recalibration of my whole self. What’s most efficient – is beginning the whole process with an alignment on the etheric level under a wonderful warm shower with singing and humming and love. When I do that before I head for the chiropractor – he only has to touch the body and it clicks into place. Simple, easy and time saving – the way I like it. Very Capricornian.

The association of the spine in our human bodies with the zero point matrix of Cardinal signs in astrology, is most appropriate for NOW. It is about getting real and giving our lives our best shot – on all levels.

Here in Victoria, Australia, we are celebrating 100 years since women first got to vote. Very Venus in Capricorn indeed!  The new First Lady in USA’s White House is a Capricorn. Women are definitely realising ‘the personal IS political’!

The ABC late last night repeated the documentary on Cat Stevens, ala Yufus Islam. He has returned to singing and has released a new album. His journey from folk to pop singer, to finding his light in a religion, to becoming a messenger/teacher for many, to a singer and musician for the people and with the people and as the people … is the story in an nutshell of the Pluto in Sagittarius cycle. As a Baby Boomer he has done this publicly for and with us.

The zero point of Libra (squared now by Pluto at zero degrees Capricorn) is the Sabian symbol of a butterfly. It marks the halfway point in the human journey wherein the human and the soul are in equal measure and the remainder of the evolving lifetimes are about returning to the 5th Kingdom of souls with lots of stories in the soul kitbag and wisdom gained from real experience. 
The revival of folksy ways of being including folk music, local farmer’s markets, handmade quality goods and clothing, organic food, community sharing/living and being friends, is not just a trend. It is more natural than the industrialized and suffocating slavery in which we have been embroiled and which pitted us against each other in a legalised ‘struggle for survival’. The popularity of world music groups groups like The Yearlings, of You tube, My Space and the millions of Blogs like this one, of simple living and meaningful relating, of integrity, democracy and socialistic thinking – are outward expressions of a human species finding itself.

On November 30th and December 1st, the cosmic wheels will provide a visual feast for us. Looking South West in the deepening blue of the evening twilight, we will see Jupiter, Venus and a crescent moon.

We live on a spherical world, spinning around a sun in a solar village. It’s time to recover our original innocence. Discard the prejudices, narrow mindedness, mean hearted and mean spirited ways of being and thinking and wave joyfully to Jupiter, Venus and the moon. Drink deeply of a wondrous sight to behold. It is a gift.

I chuckled as I read the NASA memo about the conjunction. The Bible records how the ‘Star in the East’ was considered to portend a major world event. We are emerging from years of intense preoccupation with the various aspects of ‘God”. What if they respond? What if they ALL respond? Well, enjoy the correlations of some stories that seem to fit with now. [

The crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. The Islamic teachings abhor the charging of interest for loans – personal or otherwise. Perhaps they know no-one can make money out of money without robbing someone who is in need. Doh!

We associate Venus with Love: Jesus Christ, teacher of Love, in a whirlwind of white fury, overturned the money changers tables in the synagogue, a sacred temple sopposed to be a sanctuary.  It was apparently one of his very few outbursts. He must have been verrrry angry. Does the Stock Market equate these days to money changers tables?

Jupiter is huge and we think of Abundance. It is the ruler of Sagittarius and the journey - the Sanyasin. Siddhartha taught about non-attachment to materialism and the art of compassion and sharing.  He knew – he journeyed from gross wealth to poverty and it was a humble lass who fed him rice when he was starving. Hmmmm! I’m sure it was organic. It's about consciousness.

Judaism teaches that holiness can be found in life and is within us (DNA?), if we can learn to see. They have given us the Days of Light to celebrate, the practical art of Atonement and the knowledge of the Kabbalah (Tree of Life).

Whatever the filter created by one's own cultural context and choice of mind food - we shall ALL be able to see the planets aligning with the new waxing moon.

So look up and celebrate that we can see and we can now know what we see. I respect the 3 wise men for their accuracy of calculation. I am grateful for my computer and the NASA site.

The axis of Saturn in Virgo (Form) and Uranus in Pisces (Light) might be the link to the teachings about the development of The Light Body as a quantum leap of evolution. It is is being activated now, the first of five twangs taking us through to 2010. The point it finishes on (In Aries/Libra) is at exact right angles to the Capricorn/Cancer axis being triggered now, by the intense pull of Pluto. Think about it. By 2010 we shall have flipped exactly 180 degrees and been struck by lightning 5 times.  What will the effect of these strong stellar patterns upon our planetary world, ourselves, our nature kingdoms, and perhaps yes, our solar system itself, be like? We are here to live it. Fun uh?

Millions of people – from the faintly curious through the gamut of religions, new Agers, esotericists, greenies, through to the orthodox, traditionalists and staunch fundamentalists -have been invoking, praying, chanting, decreeing through their own their beliefs for 15 years, drawing on the magnetic alignment of Pluto, the Galactic centre and the Sagittarian realm of the galactic zone. All that aspiration and power hungering for alignment with God, the Galaxy and ourselves may have helped in our unfolding evolution. Neptune in Aquarius is bringing our human spirits into the realm of knowledge. Phew!

In mathematical language, we are aligned with the zero point of Pluto’s ingress into the area of Capricorn [the sign of The Teacher].  Perhaps I’ll dig out a couple of videos collected in the sagittarian adventure. Greg Braden’s: Awakening to Zero and Beyond Zero Point. In the cosmic rhythm of the earth’s trip around the sun, we are approaching the Solstice point – the summer solstice for us here in Ozland. 

If we have learnt anything over these last Sagittarian flavored 15 years, it is that so much of our human cultural creativity is about the same thing: we want to love life, love being human and love this splendid planet we have been given in which to delight and discover – together.

It’s about us – we, the people. Some of the human species are causing strife. Only some. A small ‘some’. The rest of us want to learn to get along with each other and the planet.

We are creations of life, we have the spark of the Divine in us. IF there IS God the Creator, there is only ONE God which by definition, we all share within the excellent freedom of perspective we enjoy in a dynamic world of diversity. Tuck that into the soul wisdom pocket.

QED by sheer logic alone… (Saturn in Virgo) … It comes DOWN to us.
It’s UP to us.

This Christmas may we humans be granted (and open to receiving) the gift of Grace. In this year’s festive season, it is appropriate to think of giving humble quality, simple and meaningful gifts … and of the graciousness we can share in these turbulent times.

We begin the weekend here in Ozland on Saturday morning of the 22nd November, with storms raging along the East Coast and unseasonably cold winds with high humidity. Strange weather patterns indeed. By 9.45 am, the Sun will have entered Sagittarius AEDT. In Melbourne, a Capricorn Ascendant and Virgo Moon will greet the Day.

Here in Rye, we shall be celebrating an Inter-Faith festival with ceremonies, workshops, dancing and music, market stalls and children’s activities. The weekend’s offerings on the foreshore will be fascinating and bring lots of life to a community well aware of its delightful diversity of cultures and beliefs. This is appropriate timing as we prepare to farewell Pluto’s 15 year journey through Sagittarius which nudged us into the next evolutionary cycle whereby spirituality will emerge as a natural expression of the human. Many folk are retrieving their own direct connection with spirit and wanting to share what they are discovering. 

The role of religions was to maintain that connection through a long Age of a dispersed humanity. Each faith and belief (religion) emerged from its own cultural context. The essence uniting us all is the natural and instinctive drive towards what we call ‘the spiritual’. As we develop our intuitive selves we shall sense and know more and more directly and in tune with nature and our selves.  

On the 23rd (Sunday AEDT) Mercury will activate itself anew in Sagittarius – and we can talk about the last few weeks and seeing ahead into the future. Watch the media people fall over themselves and each other to keep up as the pace quickens. Do keep track of those ideas tumbling through the ethers and record them for us all – we shall need them. Communications may be inspired and inspiring.

On Thursday 27th November at precisely 12.03 pm, Pluto will enter Capricorn [ pluto-ingress-capricorn ] where it shall preside (with dignity and integrity) until 2024/6. The presence of Mercury and Sun in Sagittarius at this ingress heralds a revival of the classical folksy – in fashions, music, festivals, dance and song. Practical futuristic development and scientific innovation will be created from active mental planes and simplicity will replace the glamour and complexities of the past few decades. Markets will replace large shopping malls and bartering will emerge as necessity calls forth more realistic survival plans.

In Melbourne, an Aquarian Ascendant will serve us well – it is here that a local group are championing the need for an Australian Charter of Human Rights. The people will challenge the Scorpionic Business interests and the issues of water and the sea will be in our sights. The stellium of Jupiter, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn in the Aquarian ruled 11th house reinforces the Government by and for and with the people.  Community organisations and groups will feature strongly for the decade ahead. Local Councils will need to revise planning permits to create communities of dwellings which enhance sustainability and self sufficiency rather than developers estates which are often isolating and impractical.  Support community groups which serve the people, renovate and maintain community buildings and co-operatives for food growing and support; community banks and voluntary organisations will be busy. There will be more migration out of cities into rural areas where decentralisation will develop larger and more beneficial townships. [For localised charts and insights into house placement - adjust for your own time zones. ]

For our beautiful little planet – a long cycle of Reformation, Renaissance and Revolution begins in earnest. Those who have rarely considered responsible and ethical behaviour will be embarking on a crash (?) course. Those who love the adventure of responsive human creation, development and community organisation – will thrive. According to the Urantia books and the Keys of Enoch, ours is a Creation Universe of immense diversity and therefore Relativity is vital. Equality is of the Absolute which is why we are described as equal in the ‘sight of God’. We shall become more aware of this when Saturn moves into Libra late in 2009.

Life will not be boring – it is a celestial offering of stupendous potential. 

These next few decades will challenge everything we know about humanity, about civilisation and governance, about living on a planet and about our Purpose in being here and now.  If you want to know how you fit into this grand scenario, ask yourself what is important to you and what vitalises you in body, heart, mind and spirit. Integrity utilises the ability to be true to the essential self. Whatever sense and vision we have developed over the past two decades will be well seeded – conscious or not. Now, we get to actualise – to implement and to create and build anew. Nature is changing of its own accord and the planet itself is ‘initiating’ its new cycle. Many people are choosing, now, to experience and co-create with nature with a developed consciousness and physicality launching into a quantum leap of evolution. Some aspects (forms) will slowly dissolve, some will disintegrate (quite suddenly) as if the glue has worn out, some will simply cease to function as the new cosmic frequencies streaming into our world attract and repel in the everlasting dance of life. Some will prepare for sleep and withdrawal – tired from a long and demanding life cycle. Faith is simply, the knowing that new Light upon the Waters of Life is the gift of the eternal spirit of creation of which we are active and aware fragments. The miracle (gift) is that we get to experience being whole and alive – with an added bonus of consciousness.

I am reminded here of an experience way back in the mid 1980’s. I ventured to Fossil beach in Mt. Martha with my then teenage daughter and son. The wintry day had created stormy clouds through which streams of light emerged to shine on the sea. We stood on ancient rocks, surrounded by fossilised creatures millions of years old. I commented that such a sight, ”reminded me of God”. My daughter chuckled: “it IS God”. My son stared at us both then at the scene and stated simply: “It is sunlight on the water and lots of old rocks”. All 3 of us were expressing our perception and experience of a dynamic world. All 3 were correct. There is no need for comparison, competition, right nor wrong. Life IS.   

These next few years we will be witnessing the completion of a few cycles – some on a magnitude difficult to grasp.  We are sophisticated and learned enough these days to know of these greater cycles from our own calculations. The more personalised prophesies and descriptions are found in vague records and hidden in legends and stories, in religious texts and ‘sacred’ documents. Risa describes these cycles – some involving many thousands of years. 

I have been contemplating the subject of Love and wisdom which is our Solar Village theme, the beautiful blue 2nd Ray and the challenge of forgiveness.  Learning to forgive the person – whilst retaining the wisdom of seeing clearly what is nurturing of our own souls and life – is quite a process.  The Saturn/Uranus opposition brings to the light, why our most recent Avatar on Urth taught us about loving, compassion and forgiveness.

The New Moon at 5 degrees Sagittarius [Friday 28 November at 3.54 am AEDT] will revive our optimism and foresight. We will be able to see a little further across wider horizons as we surface from the intensity of Scorpio. The hymn, Blake’s Jerusalem, flickers through my mind.

This is what it is all about – reviving our passion for Life, for the liberty to embrace life, for the vision that can see life: eternal, dynamic and oh so precious.

May the mysteries continue to intrigue the mind, love revive the heart, and our little wills be one with the essence of God’s unfolding magnificence.

The Full Moon on the night before last, was glorious. It was a warm night here in Melbourne town, 22 degrees, and as I put my crystals out to grow in its energy field, I stayed in the garden breathing the sea mists and the scent of the emerging roses and blossoms. The bright light of the moon illuminated the otherwise darkened landscape and I delighted in the balmy warmth. 
It is what I loved about Hawaii when I was there last year – the external temperatures and elements were so comfortable for the human body.  

Yesterday – in the late afternoon, a fellow student of life (Soula) and I ventured along the wild coast directly in line with the Antarctic. We could see the storm clouds gathering, the surfers were out catching the full moon waves, Cape Schanck was lit up in the setting sun.

We spun and danced, we did some yoga longevity exercises, we chanted, decreed and invoked. We delighted in the spirit of creation and prayed for blessings to be sent around the planet through the oceans and the grid. We aligned with Shamballa and the network of caring folk around the planet.

The sun streaming through the clouds presented us with some stunning vistas.

As the rain began, we wandered back to our little mobile vehicles. A lone seagull flew and trotted with us, its feet cut off by some horrific circumstance. It managed to tiptoe on its stalks, mostly flying to take the pressure of its painful stumps.

At the carpark, as we stood drinking in the last of the light upon the water, we turned to discover a double rainbow in the clouds opposite the sun, where the moon would be rising.

All this was magical – nature doing its artistic and creative, dynamic dance in a vital world.

I pondered in the wee small hours of this morn, about the challenge of living in a temporary corporeal body, a material world and an evolving species. Risa had written about the mysteries of Scorpio, the Kali Yuga cycle, and the new emerging 6th sub-root race. I felt the awkward pain of the seagull and its aloneness and I empathised with its struggle. I marvelled at how it knew of our compassion and love for it and how it stayed with us as long as it could, basking in our caring energies. I chuckled over the magnificent rainbow which had emerged even brighter in the evening sunset stormy clouds. It stretched across the more gentle and protected Bay where the moon would be rising – our Covenant!  Hope. 

Yes, nature is magical and it definitely can and does manifest with and for us. It can also be vicious, violent and challenging. The weakest aspects of ourselves and our species are vulnerable to the predatory instincts of the animal within and mongst us. Spiders and snakes, insects, viral diseases: greed and lust for power, the sabotaging and nastiness, the meanest of spirits, the self deception and justifications for what is simply – animal behaviour. The combination of growing minds and these instincts has led us into pathways of planned violence and warfare, of torture and not so subtle avarice, of lies and spin and corruption. We betray ourselves and each other. It is not surprising that our mindset as been: ‘Surival of the Fittest’.

Saturn in Virgo is about patterns, crystallised and magnificent, energy matrices captured in time and space. In our emotional/psychological selves it is often about judgement. In retrospect we see more clearly. If we nurture our ability to evaluate and review, then wisdom is the result and the outcome of an evolving human awareness. It is often a whoops and ouch experience being spirits in matter. Thank Creation for time and for a sense of humour! 

The planet Mars is, to me, often the tracker and tickler of  what energises us. In Scorpio, it brings out our lower urges and instincts. It leaves Scorpio for the more cheerful and optimistic visionary Galactical energies of Sagittarius on Monday 17th November. That day, the same pattern emerges as was there for the Full Moon last night: an envelope formation embracing a mystical rectangle, sextiles to Mercury in Scorpio, a Grand Trine in water created by a rapidly passing Moon in Cancer, and another Yod. Briefly, at around 10.40 am, a Cardinal T square peaks at a Libran midheaven. The theme this time is about Purpose, feeling for and with the ordinary masses, homes and family life, and the need to take care of ourselves and each other. The elemental shift is from ‘nature’ to how we respond and express our own natures. The old instinctual fearful core paradigm of ‘conquer nature or it will destroy us’ has dominated our (un)consciousness for an Aeon. The new theme emerging is about evolving to a more cooperative and loving understanding of the essential nature of Life itself.  Pattern repeats 17 Nov 08

The universal geometric designs are stunningly portrayed with cyclical precision and awesome accuracy. How this dynamic and diversified world and universe is created and keeps running is a great mystery. As science shifts its focus from the material, mechanical models (what makes it tick) to the essence of LIFE (what makes it live ?) … we shall indeed, be in the realm of true knowledge. 

Ahead for this next week, we have much upon which to ponder, much to discuss and resolve, much to explore and create, to sort and cleanse and reorganise. relax and rest and give yourself time to integrate the new energies of hope, courage and love. Another shift occurs next week.

The G20 Summit will be a battle between the old and the new, between the lure of fear, insecurity and control up against the challenge to maturity of clear, caring and creative thinking. Venus in Capricorn will be concerned about the civilisations and the people. Mars in Sagittarius will want to play with the wildness of it all and be inspired.  On a more personal level, it will be interesting seeing how rapidly we can shift from instinct to intuition!

Self awareness and honesty about the ‘lowest’ of our drives, urges and motives are bubbling to the surface for us to recognise and own. We SEE this daily in the news, the thought forms and the hype. We are responsible for our evolution. HU-man (spirit in matter) is a great challenge. We dwell in a living matrix of energies that attract and repel. We dance the dance of Life.

Our spiritual consciousness is expanding. The confrontations that occur as we become aware of our selves, and of each other, are testament to the experience of initiation known as ‘The Dweller on the Threshold’ – our shadow or instinctual, mostly unconscious selves – which may direct our behaviour and determine our choices. Our task as we evolve, is to see clearly, and overcome the temptation to pretend that we have not seen.  Moreso, to be willing to act upon those nudges of conscience and inner whisperings of our Higher intuitive selves and our gradually strengthening compassionate, caring and loving hearts.

Judith Gayle in Planet Waves weekly newsletter to subsribers wrote about the lure of the darkness that has immobilised our spirits. She cites Jerry Kamplosky’s work: Love is letting Go of Fear and of deleting the words from our hearts, minds and vocabularies which stifle love and keep us in the ‘undertow’ of fear, hate and darkness. 

Oh, I expect that those caught in the undertow will continue to tell us all the things we can’t do, all the changes we can’t make — but the last months have given us victory after victory, changing history and changing our minds about what can be done. There will always be challenges on planet Terra, but we can be confident in our ability to face it with courage and hope and intellect and heart.

That is the new thing, here at last. Love IS letting go of fear. And we’ve chosen again.

This IS the emerging of the the essential ‘Spiritual Warrior triumphant’.

The question to keep asking oneself within the Bigger Picture of an evolving humanity, is an evolution of the Golden Rule: yes, to consider how we would want others to treat us and to be thou likewise. Then, by extension, to consider how we want humanity to be and to live.

The Emergence of new Life:
The egg has cracked, the new way of being emerges from the cocoon. Something has happened. The first alignment of Uranus in Pisces with Saturn in Virgo (4 more to come) has brought sudden and immense change. Light (Uranus) on the waters (Pisces): Let there be Light … and it shines upon the waters to bring forth new life… spirit in matter.

It seems to me that Barack Obama is activating the Will aspect of the three keys: Light of Mind, Love in our hearts and the Will to act upon what is the Highest Good for all concerned.

On Tuesday 11th November we pause at 11 am to honour all those whose spirits have uplifted us and sustained our world. There have been many ‘casualties’ in a long battle and many who are not remembered nor recognised for their bravery and dedication to the evolution of our planet and its kingdoms. In stillness and silence, we can thank them. Jupiter in Capricorn encourages us to expand our consciousness to be more inclusive and embracing in our traditional ceremonies.

The Full Moon in Taurus is on Thursday 13th November at 5.16 pm AEDT. What happened at Wesak in May is mirrored.

On the East Coast Australia, the timing allows the zodiac to be in its traditional positions (Aries rising) and a Yod offers another opening to the Covenant (we all share the opening potential of an evolving world. ) The Yod links the Ascendant in Aries to Neptune in Aquarius and together they hold the tension to Saturn in Virgo. This time, we have yet another chance to get it right. Our spirit is seeded in matter.

A Grand trine in Earth signs links the Full Moon in Taurus, Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo and is wonderful for grounding the highly charged celestial energies. Think practical, pragmatic and realistic. Think how we can organise our worldliness to serve our species and the planet. The Grand trine in earth signs signals that it is now time to consider how we work the land:
Agricultural methods that are sustainable means letting go of the huge industry of mono-culture and seed manipulation. Farming our land here in Australia has destroyed many pristine environments. The farming methods brought here from other countries do not work here on this land. Farmers are devastated. Our land is devastated. We now need to think cellular – on many levels – and the intelligent application of biodiversity and permaculture methods. Localising food production is simple and sustainable. It will emerge out of necessity and creativity. That is natural. 
 
An exact T-Square in Fixed signs links the Full Moon in Taurus, Neptune in Aquarius and the Sun in Scorpio. – all at 21 degrees. If you have any planets/angles at around 21 degrees, this will be a significant stellar energy impact.  The other angle to complete the Grand Cross in fixed signs is Leo. The Baby Boomers (Pluto in Leo) will be affected strongly, especially those born around 1952/53. Many will be considering how they fit into this new scenario. Many will also be retrieving that creative and hopeful soul/spirit from way back in their younger years.

The challenge is assisted by the Saturn/Uranus opposition which peaked in the mid 60’s. Break out of that depressive rut. Think again. Open the heart. Engage the human spirit.  

Venus has by then, reached 0 degrees of Capricorn heralding Pluto’s entry later in November. We have to love life to evolve.

There is a beautiful formation of a mystical rectangle opening to an envelope and including awakening energies of Uranus (Higher Mind) and Mercury (intellect). With the throat chakra opening through Taurus – we can sing/om/chant/ah whatever to open to the next level of insight for which we are prepared. Speak of truth.

This is the chance to heal – we have all been veterans of a long war between the old ways of thinking and the new consciousness emerging. As I watched Barack Obama’s acceptance speech, I let tears release the lump in my throat and gently soothe the pain in my heart that has been there for decades.

No matter how fixed the mindsets and paradigms, the social clichés and conceptual bubbles, the values and societal norms – change is the dynamic which ensures new life. Without it we stultify, we shrivel and we bury our spirits. Eventually, the spirit retrieves itself and the corporeal, the personality, the beliefs and conceptual bubbles, and yes, societal forms, dissolve.

Now, we are here, alive and conscious, experiencing the dawning of the New Aeon which will span over two thousand years of humanity growing, maturing and discovering so much more of its potential.

Begin the healing and the doing will happen naturally enough in time.  We will need you and you will need us.

The Full Moon on Thursday 13th November offers a crucible for this Aquarian impulse to come together as one humanity. It is assisted by the Pisces/Virgo axis and Venus and Jupiter in Capricorn. Essentially: ‘we can do it, if we co-create intelligently and together’. The individual is never completely alone, we are mutually interdependent in teams, families, groups, communities, nations and on one small and beautiful planet. What we do, individually and collectively, has an effect.

This is reality. It is our destiny.

Jonathan Cainer referred to another timely part of the cosmic clock on his site yeaterday.

As the Moon grows Full, we’re nearing the end of the Fifth Night of the Mayan calendar. According to this Central American tradition, the Sixth Day will commence on Thursday and will bring a new era, during which people rapidly become more creative, individualistic and clear minded. If that sounds unlikely, given that we’re seemingly heading for recession, the Mayans have an explanation. The downturn was a side-effect of the Fifth Night which began in 2006. Some even predicted that it would cause a collapse of Western economic systems. By their reckoning, we’re over the worst of this.

Venus entering Capricorn is the trigger for the next cycle (Reformation) as the Mayan Calendar is based upon the movements and cycles of Venus.

Saturn in Virgo is sidling up to align in opposition to Uranus in Pisces: We hold the centre of sustainability and practicality and lift our sights to dowse the universal (largely unknown), with an electrical antennae to light the way. Uranus is like a laser and Saturn is about focus and form in the human sense. It’s about careful planning, design and sensing the target. It’s about Resurrection of the Spirit.

Visualise Saturn in Virgo at thefeet (the mineral kngdom) and Uranus in Pisces hovering above at about the 12th chakra level (lightning) feel/sense where it is and gently open to bring it in. If we practise this now, by the time it is exact on 4th November – our bodies will be aligned with both the heavens and the earth. Let it flow (Will) to the core of the earth and back up to the surface to the  grid. Then up to the heart chakras and brow/minds.  Sense the network of Love and Light. The throat chakra may want to open to an Om, an Ah or a tone/song/sigh/hum.

Venus in Sagittarius is reactivating the love of the visionary and possible futures that we have explored during the last 15 years with Pluto in this inspirational Galactic energy field. The intensely magnetic Pluto dances its final act in fiery, gypsy, wondrous Sagittarius and invites us, nay attracts us, through the vortex into a new landscape. Our intuition is a guide.

If we were true to the original seasonal celtic traditions – in Australia we would be creating community festivals, markets with folk dancing and maypoles and celebrating the fertility of all life. We do have a holiday for The Melbourne Cup. Our global traditions are twirling and twining.  

By 31st October and for a few days, there will be a magnificant display of Venus and the Crescent Moon in the evening twilight sky. Nasa site.

The combination of the Sagittarian Vision and sense of beauty stimulated by Venus and Pluto combined with the practicality of Saturn in Virgo/Uranus in Pisces is beautifully portrayed in The Venus Project site and the movie.

It is a time for science fiction, the Jedi and Groking.

The Sun has entered Scorpio joining and aligning our base instincts (to survive). Contrary to popular opinion, the Darwinian theories of evolution referred extensively to the ability to adapt as being the crucial element in any growth and evolutionary cycle. On a more personal level it is about consciousness which right now is expanding in Capricorn. The energy of the sun In Scorpio activates the ability to sense (instinctively) the truth – of our own and others motives. It may develop into seership when combined with the intuitive and mental clarity. Yes, much is being revealed. The challenge is to acknowledge our now well integrated and natural desire to see clearly and to understand.

There is much fear bubbling to the surface as those whose sense of being was rooted in the Military/Industrial/Financial Complexes are confronted with apparent loss. The illusions are of having and owning, of control and power. The essence of the Scorpio archetype is the life/death/life cycle – transmutation, transformation and regeneration. It helps to focus on the resurrection. Ask to see clearly. Trust that we have within us the wherewithall to come through this transition.

Tony Jones on Lateline (21st October) interviewed Dr Pachauri of the IPCC. Interesting – he referred to the ‘flat earthers’ in denial about the world changing. Yes, there is life after change and trans/form/ation.

The Aquarian triad (Neptune, Node and Chiron) are helping us lift our spirits to re-connect with each other – the grand discovery that perhaps sharing and co-operating with each other in cheerful interdependence may in fact, be a way of surviving. We are all in this together.

 We humans have five physical senses, seven energy centres and 10 fingers and 10 toes, five on each side. We are Bi-peds and upright. There’s a code there somewhere. Perhaps it is about taking FIVE steps to initiate change.

Aspects of our organised societal worlds are unravelling and unfolding as we are growing and changing as a species. The old systems simply do not work anymore. Our next phase of development is in view: the transformation and recreating of our civilisations. Sagittarian transformation was about lifestyle and beliefs – the Capricorn transformation is about civilisation and purpose. Now we get to DO IT!

In a dynamic world of bio-diversity (our planet) – adaptability is valuable skill. Mercury in Libra has been guiding us to remember that we make choices.

The new Moon in Scorpio is exact at 10.14 am AEDT on the morning of Wednesday 29th October. Mars is in its familiar energy territory of Scorpio. The dowsing of the waters with the Saturn/Uranus opposition is getting close to alignment. As we build up to this – be honest with oneself and unafraid. Dig deep and rise to the surface for air occasionally. From the core, a new seeding can find fertility within the emotional and instinctive lava moving beneath the crusted surface now cracking. 

This is a magical time: the energy of Sun Scorpio reminds us of the legends of the wizards, the magicians and seers. (yes, it is Samhein/Halloween in the Northern hemisphere – and Beltane here – Maypole dancing time!) . It is a time of enchantment wherein the nature of innocence can scan the horizons and wonder. It is a time of miracles – and inspiration. It is the emerging of a chick from the egg, the metamorphosis of a tadpole to a frog, the larva to a dragonfly and a caterpillar to a butterfly. It will take the next two weeks to emerge – take it easy.

Be gentle and kind with oneself and with others – especially those truly scared. 

Drink lots of water. There’s a secret there somewhere in water. Perhaps it is the hydrogen which is universal (as far as we know).

We are releasing our addictions to an aeon of adrenaline rushes and toxicity – in emotions, memories, mindsets and the body itself. We have been expressing this in our relationship to the earth and each other. We have become accustomed (since the beginning of the Egyptian Era) to danger, battles and dramas.

We are Here and Now. Each day fills up with a quickened pace of inner growth and outer activity which commands our ability to be flexible and responsive. We came into incarnation at this time – for this. We are strong souls and courageous beings.

On Monday Night, Denton on the ABC program, Enough Rope, interviewed Imran Kahn. This was an enlightening experience – to watch a man relaxed and sure enough to be transparent, honest and to speak from the heart and soul with integrity. To this he added his clarity of mind. I wondered if chance could nudge him to lead the United Nations.

On Tuesday SBS Insight program explored the increasing violence amongst the youth. It occurred to me that we are still entrenched in a punitive/reward mentality. It doesn’t work very well at all. The goalposts keep shifting and the carrots keep changing and, by the time we manage to catch one, are often stale. Appropriately, next tuesday’s forum is about Greed.

I pondered on the attachment to money that has been entangled in this punishment/reward system: those with it assume they deserve it and those without feel they are being punished. Our major world religions teach the nature of a wrathful God and credits in heaven for ‘good deeds’ according to often incomprehensible and unrealistic doctrines. The norms and values of a changing world create much confusion: do we head for the rewards and shy away from the punitive? What if it all switches suddenly and how do we know which way to jump next?

LaRouche is recommending we “revive the Peace of Westphalia agreement”. We need to stablise the world monetary system and share equitably. No more speculation on changing values and currency rates, each nation has its sovereignty, the world’s resources are for us all to share. The charging of interest is to be minimal to cover basic costs only. People with money can live on their own money – not the interest!  Imagine a global world where imperialist exploitation is a nightmare from the past!

On Thursday we had the third and final of the USA debates. Obi One won. Is there still any decision to be made? I cruise around the net and discover some interesting forums and videos discussing the older generation and the old way of thinking - reluctant to change. Oh dear!

It’s the same witnessing the condition of nature and the planetary world environment – isn’t it obvious and common sense to take care of it?

The punitive/reward system kicks back on us: Saturn in Virgo is supercritical – then it turns inwards and we are punishing ourselves and rewarding ourselves and on it all goes.

How can anyone be open, honest and admit mistakes and errors if (s)he is afraid of punishment?

How can we even begin to think creatively and seek solutions if we cannot see where we have erred – or that we are being called to respond with a welcome sense of fair play, clarity and vision? Triaka Smith has devoted years to the solution of Sovereign and United Diversity. The world leaders seem quite naiive and uneducated compared with the obvious solutions emerging from the grass roots of the peoples that inhabit our world and share daily lives.

These are serious times: the energies from Sirius stream forth activating a maturing phase and a Pluto connecting with the Galactic Centre tweaks our evolutionary agenda. Jonathan Cainer predicted this fall out when the portend of Comet Holmes streaked across our skies. 

Uranus in Pisces is gearing up for the first of 5 oppositions to Saturn – producing a quantum leap effect across time and space – I played my Forest Gump CD and sang away whilst checking the year’s records in preparation for the Tax Return. It all seemed surreal – part of me a teenager again in the 1960’s and reviving the passion and another part of me heading for 60 rounds of the sun and wondering why I pay tax for our community development when it is now being used to shore up banks – the same banks that robbed me of my home in 1990. It’s all happening again – to a much larger group of people all over the world. I have squeaked and shouted and sulked and warned folk and the media for years. They have perpetuated the punitive/reward myth of: “foolish people deserve to lose”. 

I understand why so many remain unconscious and choose the way of the herd  – wherever it is going – without asking why. Uncertainty and insecurity has presented a lonely Path in the past. Now, false wealth and false stability show themselves to be flimsy illusions. Disappointment and grief will dissolve social aspirations until folk truly know themselves once again. Handing over our power to those less informed, less evolved and less enlightened – is lazy spirituality.  

“How low will we (humanity) have to go?” ask the journos. The media needs to awaken to the truth of being human and dissolve the paradigms of creating what is marketable. It is not about “how low can we go?” – many of us are far ahead of that anxiety. We know from experience, that when the going gets tough … we shall have to rise to the occasion: to work and live together as groups and teams of cheery folk to build, create and share without the lure of wealth. We shall have to forgo profit mongering to keep our businesses afloat and continue to employ more people and share the resources. We shall have to end careers of financial manipulation and sharemarkets designed to give more to those who already have. We shall have to grow healthy food and car pool and give away what we no longer need. We shall have to share meals, shelter and clothing without the elitist fashioning and status symbols that defined (labelled) us in the past. We shall need to infuse quality into our creations and service, integrity in our worldly affairs and honesty in our relationships.  We shall need to be inventive and improvise: to focus on the essential and the essence of what we offer and receive. The glossy, glamorous and superfluous are already being eroded by the winds of necessity. We shall need to simplify and clarify. We shall need to know the truth intuitively amidst the chaos of disturbing confusion and diverting spin.

I watch as a top Banker in Australia announces “there is no evidence of a link between high salaries paid to Executives and the current world financial crises”. Mars is in Scorpio and those that ‘have’ are holding on like crazy. Denial and delusion are thickening like treacle in midair.

Saturn in Virgo guides us now: We shall need to be diligent – to empty the old and to clean the container of ourselves, (our civilisations) and our lives before refilling it.

Eric’s (Planet Waves October 10th) on The Capricorn Point was heart and gut wrenching whilst managing to enthral the mind: 

One way to understand what we have been put through the past decade — if you need to understand — is considering the concept of what I call shadow loyalty. This is a kind of covert loyalty directed at people who take from us, abuse us and generally disrupt our lives. It is a copy of the secret loyalty we felt for our caregivers who frequently did the same things to us. Contained in that shadow loyalty is a need to be accepted by people who are robbing us, and the fear of being cast off, a tribal wound that I’ll come back to when we explore the forthcoming Chiron-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius.

For now, let’s see where Pluto in Capricorn fits the picture. As we can see, a force we don’t understand is going to rip through the power structure, rendering it nearly ineffective until it transforms itself…..

We’re transitioning into the beginning of a crucial era, in fact meeting this thing we’ve been calling 2012. In addition to a major change in the Mayan calendar (the end of the 13th baktun), the planetary astrology builds to a rapid crescendo between now and then, complete with social upheavals that will make the Sixties feel like a rehearsal for the high school pageant.

Change is not comfortable for most people. We would rather have things be just so, and we’ll do almost anything to keep them that way, including deny our own growth, health, liberty and sanity. We will stay with people who we don’t love or barely care about. We will keep jobs we hate. Most of all, we will refuse to face our pain. We’ll do all of this for the illusion of stability. Or maybe it’s preserving the illusion of stability that protects us from the scourge of freedom.

Eradication of Poverty, UNMDG, World Bank, Pluto in Capricorn
Friday at the United Nations is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Do we know how to eradicate poverty? The following are organizations with the goal of reducing poverty in our world. The United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UNMDG, an acronym) have, as its primary objective, the eradication of poverty. The World Bank, established Dec. 27th, 1945, after WW II, was created with the stated goal of reducing poverty and assisting developing nations through the creation of sustainable infrastructures. The present economic crisis, a worldwide crisis, in its reorientation of monies and resources, will eventually allow our world to become a world of sharing equally among all peoples.
That is a long way off. But the continued disabling of the present unsustainable economic structures marks the beginning. When Pluto re-enters Capricorn (November 26, 2008, 5:03 pm, Pacific time, Thanksgiving eve and continuing until 2024), nothing will stop the tide from moving relentlessly toward this goal of first, destruction of the old ways of being and later, the creation of a world of sharing and equalizing resources for all of humanity. We must all be prepared for this very long time of restructuring of humanity’s resources and way of life.

As the weeks toward the elections unfold, energies build toward the Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces transit (in the sky), an unsettling planetary situation, which also, along with the v/c, occurs on Election Day. These energies will affect all of humanity. This is the very same (though in opposite signs) transit that created the music, drugs, runaways, the Haight, free speech and the hippies of the 1960s—a radical and sovereign state (of mind, body and emotions) unto itself.

What these times mean esoterically is that humanity will move to the next kingdom, the Kingdom of the Soul, and that in these times of crisis we will see the emerging of this Kingdom …

[Ah yes!  I am content. I am glad to have chosen to study and prepare myself to assist the hatching, matching and despatching of souls through the service of 7th Ray expressed in the sacred role of Celebrancy. I watered the thirsty garden drying rapidly under the Australian burning sun and hailed Venus and Mars in Scorpio over the ocean and the Full golden Moon in Aries/Sun Libra in an Indigo sky over the Bay.  It was a powerful and magical evening. I 'grok' the waiting and the fullness! I am glad to be human and here, Now! ]

This weekend will be lighter – Mercury has resumed forward direction in Libra and a Grand Trine in Air forms with the Moon in Gemini. Free the Mind! By Sunday, Venus enters Sagittarius and we can let our inner flames ignite. By Sunday evening, the Moon is in Cancer so those who need to flow with the waters of life and perhaps curl up in a doona and watch some nostalgic movies will find those healing tears can be released at last.  A Yod forms then, linking Saturn in Virgo and peaking at the Node in Aquarius. We (humanity) are heading to a vastly different human landscape. The Aquarian Age is referred to as the Age of Knowledge – I wonder if humanity will learn what being truly human actually is – we have a couple of thousand years to find out. I hope we will like ourselves more and love our children and our planet.

By Wednesday 23rd the Sun will have entered Scorpio and the Moon in Leo will be stimulating our hearts. Our emotions intensify. It’s all about energy.

  Contemplation

Remember the days when we enjoyed watching television as entertainment? Here in Australia we laughed at Sunnyside Up with Graeme Kennedy and Burt Newton clowning around on Friday nights at 7.30 – followed by the more cultural Playhouse Theatre. We knew then that advertising was a game of persuasion, spin was spin and movies were make believe.

Remember the 1960’s? If you do – you are in for a rerun. I have dragged out Heinlin’s: Stranger in a Stranger Land for a reminder of how to interact and grok with this oft times selfish and shallow humo-ccentric species. I first read it in 1974 and it helped me to detach and realise humanity is species – evolving – and is often fear driven and myopic.  

If you were too frightened to join the (R)evolution then – now you have the chance to be braver and lead a more personally fulfilling life. Now, there are invitations to enjoy the streams of Reformation and Renaissance as well. It will peak in November, then 4 more times over the next two years. How we think and feel in response to our lives now is an expression of our values and priorities – and will help us to determine our paths ahead.

If you were born later to families who expressed many of the aspects of those times – now you are invited to make your own choices. Saturn in Virgo is ringing the bell of fate and destiny for the Pluto in Virgo group born 1957-1972.

If you remember the Harmonic Convergence in 1987 and that experience was seeded in your consciousness and your soul – then these next two years will be the time when your soul flame can blaze forth once more. The most armoured hearts may open slowly to bloom as you engage with yourself and the world. Visit the sites on the earth grid you have activated over the years. Or send your loving energy and invoke the light streaming into the planet all the way through to the core of this gorgeous globe, up again to the surface and along the grid to light the way for those still scuttling around in the shadowlands.

Philip’s latest Galactic News message is a wonderful summary of the current solar village conclave and a delight to read: The self-appointed weirdo, Uranus, in the most sensitive Pisces, compensates for rejection by the masses or the collective by announcing in advance that all marbles will be collected and taken home. “The hell with all of you. I’m not playing, leastwise by your rules.”

This is the Libran time cycle – when the sun shines forth with the Galactical backdrop of Libra – the scales. They tip this way and that way. Holding the centre is the only way not be pushed/pulled and sent into a dizzy craziness. Do the right thing guided by your soul light and you will be immensely grateful that you found an inner core of peace and sanity amidst such turmoil.

 Try learning to spin again like we did as children when we played ‘statues’: that playful theatrical game when the momentary leader yells, stop and declares what we shall be at that frozen moment in time and space.

 Life’s like that now. What we have encased in concrete is merely a fleeting expression based on what is being called forth from the current source of (perceived and allocated) power. The herd mentality and the status quo are proving to be fickle friends. The conservatives have lost the plot and need to retrieve the old fashioned values of ethics, integrity and the occasional sprinkle of altruism. Pffft! Dharma is more important than karma these days.

 Reality Check: what is real and what is unreal? Neptune, the Karmic agenda and Chiron – our vulnerable wounding as a species – in Aquarius is facilitating the playing out of our collective fantasies in the psycho drama of our planetary world. We have entered the final act of a long and dramatic play. Sometimes scripted, oft times directed and occasionally improvised – the human kingdom is drawing together its bits and pieces, its legends and prophecies, its stories and memories. To make sense of the future we have to become truly present and observe with clarity and detachment the unfolding mysteries of our scattered human family and its various tribes.

 What we thought were pillars of society and respectful agents of authority (which we granted them) are being revealed as emotion and fear driven ordinary people like ourselves – with feet of blood and bone. In gross acts of denial and deception, people have been playing with our lives in the shadow of their own agendas and sabotaging, undermining, tweaking this and that – for what and for why? There’s more of it ahead. By the 4th October, Mars begins its stirring up of the waters in Scorpio. The lowest levels of our human drives and instincts will be howling at the moon. Revelations bubble to the surface.

 The challenge is to question everything – including our own (un)conscious urges. If we are to step into the Age of Light (and the Galactical/cosmic clock is chiming), then we need the soul gifts of transparency and honesty and to be courageous. The drive to understand is preferable to the primal urge to rampage. It is okay to say: “I have changed my mind”. It is wise now to preface any communication with: “I shall ponder on this”.

 Consciousness and awareness are preludes to sensitivity and the we-ness is fast overtaking the me-ness of the last millennium. The new code for the Age of Aquarius is a dramatic shift from the what is good enough for me – to what is good enough for we.

For the more culturally conservative amongst us: trot over to the bookshelf and drag out Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice. I was always fascinated by Portia –she had to pretend to be a male to be heard: her speech about “The Quality of Mercy …” dropping from the heavens to the earth beneath … is one we need to hear now.

 The bailout of the US financial gamblers raises the question: If we can ‘create’ hundreds of billions of dollars out of thin air to rescue (a select few) businesses – then why not do so to save the planet, eradicate poverty, provide health care and education, support inventive and productive ideas and … well? What are our values as a human family?

 Those of you who have studied the Course in Miracles will know that in God’s Kingdom (which is far more immense and compassionate than our little human minds can possibly comprehend and for which our hearts yearn to see manifested here on earth), everything is correctable: mistake – take one/take two/take three – we all have multiple chances to get it right. Oft times to find the right solution, we need to expand our mental horizons and raise the level of awareness. By the 6th October, the Sun, Moon and Mercury form the triage in Libra. Our soul, hearts and minds can reach an agreement.

 Saturn is Virgo is asking for the truth through the revelation of FACTS. Forgiveness is a spiritual antidote for these toxic times – and yes, it is difficult to forgive when we know people KNOW – what they do. Jupiter in Capricorn is expanding our consciousness to see beyond the perimeters of the current status quo to the truth of a world of possibilities. The certain world is in a state of flux. This is painful for those who have relied on the societal norms and values as a guide to their own moral code. We need Camelot’s round table for a respectful interchange of ideas. Honesty and transparency is vital now – in all our affairs.

 What is the lesson for us human souls? The status quo is temporary – the soul is linked to the eternal. Do we invest in the short term or long term? How do we be our older and wiser souls in evolving temporary forms? How deep (or shallow) are we?

 Libra is the time when people want a bet each way and a foot in both worlds. Be prepared for an ever widening gap. Choices may need to be made.  Truth is, the soul CAN shine forth through a myriad of human choices. Feeding our souls the aha’s and gems of wisdom produces sparkles of light in our human kingdom.  Feed the Soul from the core of real human experiences. We are (remember?) interfacing with the 5th Kingdom – the Kingdom of Souls.

 What to now?

 With Mercury retrograde in Libra and dancing with Mars at the moment – it is wise to do some quick reviewing and evaluation of one’s own instinctive and (un)conscious intentions in relationships of all kinds. By the 4th October , Mars in Scorpio will be creating waves and ripples of intensity. Our ability to detach and observe will be useful. Ultimately, the BIG question is: What is our relationship to our own souls and the fact – the reality – of being in existence here and now? If we exist – why and how are we living this truth? Until mid October, our minds are working on the inner planes.   

 Do you like being human? Do you like yourself? If so – embrace it and live it to the full. If not – why not and what needs to change and grow within the human self you are currently inhabiting and co-creating (with the soul) day by day? Monitoring of the self in the context of our interactions with the world is fuel for journal writing. These weeks are time for honest reflection and contemplation.

 Fact is – we are alive. We have choices. We are co-creating this world and evolving as a species. Are we leaves in the stream of life and on the winds of time? Are we genetic flotsam and jetsam and blobs on the landscape of humanity? Are we consciously determining our own lives filling the emptiness with our own meaning? Have we depended upon (old) laws, decrees and dogmas to guide us through our lives and forgotten that we always have our own direct connection with the Universal Holy Spirit? Can we, may we, will we, be our soul selves incarnate and empowered by a universal spirit of goodwill and creativity that is forever dynamic and meaningful and oh so wondrous?

Time will tell … and in the meantime, we are creating the future from our present choices.

There are inevitably surprises in a world of such immensity. The unknown is bigger than the known. For those already consciously aligned with Shamballa as World Servers: Lois has sent out a very welcome message from *Sananda. It reminds us of the paradigm shift occurring and that we are working with the 5th Kingdom to bring in the light and to play with it in God’s Kingdoms.

 Earth Food for the Soul: The ABC program, Two in the Top End  grants a reprieve from the circus mayhem and guides us through the evidence of the beginnings of this planet. It is a delight – especially for those whose love of nature is stronger than their sense of brother/sisterhood with an immature human family.  Remember – we have 2,500 years of the Aquarian Age to mature and learn what being human is all about. The planet is/will be teaching us to clean up after ourselves. 

Astrologically, how we decide now will express itself until next April, when in Aries, we start over.   Then again, we can always change our minds…
